THE SET-UP

There are two of us: Liz & Paul.  We like the outdoors in summer (walking) and in winter (ski-ing).  We are moderately fit, but live and work in London.  The Haute Route trip was a chance to get out into the fresh air and see what we could do.  We enjoyed it so much that we have decided to do a similar long trek every year at least once, as well as lots of shorter walking trips.  Also I (Liz) decided to start this blog so that I could go on and on about the subject (and other related preoccupations) without anyone having to listen to me. Isn't that the point of a blog?
